ANAHATA CHAKRA The unstruck heart

Hi, I’m Charlotte (Yogi Cha). I’m a yoga teacher with a degree in clinical psychology. When not teaching, I enjoy learning and writing (my blog) about both eastern and western approaches to body-mind union.

The sacred marriage of anima and animus

The integrator of body and spirit

The balance of tension and softness

Of passion and compassion

The beauty of chaos and cosmos

Gloomy skies and air so thick of humidity you could bite into it. After days of heavy rains and gray clouds, I asked my students to welcome the shadow into their anahata CHAKRA FLOW for balance today. We love and we grief, we open and we close. Only through suffering can we learn what surrender actually is. Enlightenment isn’t defined by the numbers of smiles you put on. Inner peace can only appear when you have been to the other side. Light exists because of darkness. Allow yourself to be vulnerable and strength will arise.
